Directions and other Important Information

When you arrive at the park, please let the gate attendant know you are here for our wedding. This way you will not have to pay the normal $5 entrance fee.

The park is located at 600 Quiet Waters Park Road, Annapolis MD 21401.

From Route 50, take Exit 22 to Aris T Allen Blvd/MD 665 E.

Aris T. Allen becomes Forest Drive.

Turn right at Hillsmere Drive (you will see two gas stations, an Exxon and a Texaco).

Take your first right on Quiet Waters Farm Road.

Past the gate, follow the road back until you see a building and ponds/fountains. Bear right towards this building.

Go past the building, there is another smaller building behind it. This is the Blue Heron Center. The parking lot is behind the Center.

We have settled on pretty much everything but a photographer. We love that so much of the whole event is being done by family and friends. One of my good friends from high school, Brianne, is serving as our officiant. Another family friend who has her own catering business is making all the food. My mom handmade my wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses. Kenny's aunt, who was a florist for years, offered to make the flower arrangements. His friend and coworker is playing our ceremony music. My sister is doing my hair. The calligraphy on the invitation envelopes is a collaborative family effort. Several other friends of ours have volunteered to help out however they can, and it all makes this event feel even more special.

As for the vendors we actually had to hire... we have Jami from Absolute Entertainment as our DJ (and I'm thrilled about our music selections), and The Main Ingredient is making our cupcakes and bartending.
